Lost in Gustav
No chats to record as of late. My family and friends back home have been without power for over a week now. Some have gotten it back, others not. Most seem to be handling it with patience and a sense of humor. I can’t even imagine being without power for that long.
My mom learned of Gusav a few days before it hit when I asked her about it over the phone. She was like, “Oh, so that’s why all the Wal-Marts have been packed with people buying up all the non-perisable foods and bottled water.”
I love Louisiana.
